About ONSTAGE

Embodying the spirit of good old-fashioned theatre, ONSTAGE Theatre Company was founded as a showcase for vintage comedies and dramas. Its goal is to present quality presentations of classic theatre to audiences in landmark theatres and opera houses throughout Texas.  In 1996 ONSTAGE produced its first show, Educating Rita, at the newly restored State Theater in downtown Austin. Later that year ONSTAGE joined with THE COMPANY to bring Arsenic and Old Lace to the historic Stafford Opera House in Columbus, Texas. Since then, ONSTAGE has produced over 40 shows and performed not only in Austin and Columbus but San Antonio, Lakeway, Bastrop, Shiner,  and even li'l ol' Flatonia, Texas. ONSTAGE Theatre Company is dedicated to providing audiences, wherever they call home, an enriching and entertaining theatre experience.
